The Figurines We Use

Much time is dedicated to the selection of the figurines we offer. The majority of what we offer are made of a durable poly resin material.

We look for detail in the design, color, quality and general appeal. We double coat all of our figurines with an enamel UV protector crystal clear coating ensuring that they hold up for years in all weather conditions.

Note: (after 2 years in my back yard I have not observed any noticeable cracking or fading.

Bird Feeder Plate:

The bird feeder itself is a regular dinner plate that you may use at home, it has a hard fired coating, many are hand painted, they come in a variety of colors and sizes, the size of your plate will depend on the plate selection you have chosen.

(Ultra Deluxe) – approximately 12” x 10”, oval.

(Deluxe) – approximately 11 inches round.

(Small) – approximately 9 inches round.

The Solid Steel Rods

All the rods we use are solid steel, coated with a black zinc durable finish. It is an expensive and time consuming task but I wanted a finish that will withstand all the elements that nature wants to throw at it.

(Extra Large) – threaded on three ends, 42 inches in height
½ inch in thickness, (not hollow).

(Large) – threaded on three ends, 42 inches in height,
3/8 inch thickness, (not hollow).

(Small) – threaded on three ends, 42 inches in height
5/16 inch thickness, (not hollow).

Note: ( Your kit will a include (1) - black zinc coated metal connector rod, (2) - silver zinc coated metal nuts, (2)- silver zinc coated metal washers and a special bottle of outside power glue to attach the figurine to the plate).

Drainage Holes

Don’t be alarmed if you see two holes in your plate.

One hole will be to connect the rod to the figurine and plate. The other smaller hole will be for drainage. You don’t want your bird seed flowing out of your plate or standing water mixing with the seeds after a hard rain.
