What you will need:
A Pair of Pliers to tighten the hex nuts.

|
|
Step 1 - Assembling the rods
Locate Rod A – (This will be the smaller of
the two rods provided), connect to Rod B –
(The longer of the two rods) using the connector hardware to connect the two rods together at the threaded ends.
Screw in each end at the halfway point until the two ends meet at the center of the connector bolt.
|
Step 2 -
Connecting the plate to the rod
Locate - The (2) – silver coated hex nuts, the (2) silver coated washers and the plate. Screw one hex nut hand tight on the exposed threaded end of your connected rod, then place one of the washers over the hex nut. Next place the plate so it is resting on top of the washer. Next, place the remaining washer over the plate and finally screw on the remaining hex nut over the washer. Using your vice grips tighten the hex nut so that the plate is securely fastened to the plate.
 |
Note: Don’t tighten the hex nut too much, this could damage your plate! |

Step 3: Connecting the figurine
Locate – Your small bottle of glue provided in your kit.
You will notice a hole at the bottom of your selected figurine.
Lightly dab a small amount of water over the entire bottom of your figurine, this will activate your “super outdoor industrial glue”.
Apply a small amount of the glue to the bottom of your figurine, it only takes a very small amount of glue.
This glue will expand as it dries.
For best results try to apply your glue evenly keeping it about ¼ of an inch away from the edges of the bottom of your figurine.
Finally, carefully place the figurine over the exposed nut on top of your plate.
Your figurine should be dry in about 1 hour this will depend on your particular climate conditions.

Special Precautions
Please be extremely careful where you place your bird feeder while it is in the drying stage. It should be placed securely in the upright position where there is no foot traffic where someone may accidentally knock your bird feeder over. |
