Dan Dunn is the President, the creator and the chief bottle washer of “My Secret Garden”. Dan is originally from Louisville, Kentucky and has lived in the Tampa Bay Florida area for over 23 years. Dan is married to Christine Dunn, who is an 8th grade Middle School Science Teacher who teaches in Tampa, Florida. “With her unwavering love and devotion to nature, she is the inspiration of the unique products that are offered through “My Secret Garden”, says Dan.

The Company, “My Secret Garden” was established in the late Spring of 2007. Dan made his first bird feeders for Chris to put in her back yard a year or so earlier. Friends and family members who visited Dan & Christine’s home would always comment on how much they loved her bird feeders and would always ask where they could purchase them for themselves. They would soon find one of Dan’s bird feeders in their back yard around Christmas or their birthday or just as a gift for any occasion.

Dan and Chris have always enjoyed going to local Art & Craft festivals to see all the unique items that were offered at these festivals. Christine mentioned, that people seem to love the bird feeders so much, that maybe Dan should consider participating in a couple of Art & Craft shows. So Dan signed up and displayed his wares in a small show in Brooksville, Florida. To Dan’s surprise the bird feeders they were an instant success and he sold 90% of all his bird feeders he had brought. Since that first show, Dan has participated in dozens of shows and sells hundreds of his products each month at Art and Craft shows throughout the state of Florida, from the Pan Handle to the Florida Keys. in which he has expanded his product line to include not only Bird Feeders but also Bird Baths, Flower Pots, Butterfly Feeders and unique, colorful Garden Stepping Stones.
